How do I award a project based on our internal process?

Once you approve a provider’s proposal, Globality makes the award process frictionless with a simple Q&A flow. This ensures your selected provider has gone through all the required checks, ranging from risk-vetting to legal compliance to cybersecurity risk assessment, prior to moving forward.

1. Once you are ready to select a proposal as your preferred option, navigate to the respective provider’s proposal and click “Approve Proposal."

2. Once a proposal has been approved, the award process automatically starts. Your team will receive an email notification letting them know that the provider’s proposal was selected as the preferred option, and you will be prompted with the next steps necessary to complete the award process.

3. Glo will take you through a series of simple questions that you must answer to complete the award process. The questions will vary depending on the project risks, the kind of contract that the provider has with your company, and third-party management processes that the provider has gone through. These questions are only visible to your project team.

4. To view and edit any of the questions, click on the “Award” section from the provider’s profile. Hover over the information you would like to edit and click on the pencil icon to begin editing.

5. Once you are done answering and editing all the required questions, click “Complete Award.” If approval is required, an approval request will be created and the assigned approvers will be notified to approve your request.

6. To cancel an award before it is submitted, go to the provider’s profile, and click “Cancel Award." You will be prompted to enter the reason you are canceling the award. This information is for your project team and will not be shared with the provider. The provider will not be notified that the award process was canceled.

7. Once award has been completed, your project team will receive an email notification letting them know that the project has been awarded to that provider. An email notification will also be sent to the provider letting them know their proposal was approved and that they should wait for Purchase Order (PO) details before commencing any work.
