How to create and submit a proposal

Once your company has decided to pursue a project opportunity, you can draft and submit proposals in response to the client’s Smart Brief.

Create a proposal

  1. Start Your Proposal: After expressing interest in a project, Glo will prompt you to draft your proposal. Alternatively, navigate to the "Proposals" tab in the project navigation panel and click "New Proposal." You can create and submit up to 25 proposals per project.
  2. Use the Proposal Builder: The proposal builder will guide you through providing details on milestones, fees, project teams, and more. You can also upload supporting documents. A draft version is automatically saved, allowing you to return later or delete it if no longer needed. Additionally, you can clone any proposal to create another quickly.
  3. Submit Your Proposal: Once all required information is provided and you're ready to share it with the client, click "Submit Proposal."
  4. Track Proposal Status: After submission, track your proposal's status in the "Proposals" tab. Statuses include "In Progress," "Submitted," "Revision Requested," and "Approved."

Revise your proposal

You can revise your proposal at any time, and clients may request specific changes. You will receive a notification if a revision is requested.

  1. Revise Your Proposal: Navigate to the proposal and click "Revise Proposal" to make necessary changes.
  2. Submit the Revised Proposal: When ready, click "Submit Proposal" to share the updated version with the client.
  3. View Proposal History: Check the "Proposal Version" section at the top to view records of any previous submissions.

Proposal approval

If the client decides to work with your company, you will be notified when the project is awarded to you.
