How do I review and compare proposals on the Platform?

With the traditional approach, receiving and evaluating proposals is tedious and involves cumbersome spreadsheets. With Globality, you can effortlessly perform cost analysis and evaluate proposals to drive substantial value for your company.

Inviting providers

1. To invite the providers you want to move forward with, click "Invite" in the Matched tab of “Providers” in the navigation panel. If you require procurement approval, procurement users will be informed of your request and will need to approve each invite. Once providers receive their invitations, they are instructed to submit their proposals.

2. Providers must submit their initial proposal version by your selected proposal due date and time. They will be unable to compete in your project if they fail to do so. You will be prompted 5 days, 2 days, and 24 hours before proposals are due so that you have enough time to edit the due date and ensure that you receive enough proposals from providers. Once a proposal due date passes, you will not be able to invite a provider to the project opportunity until you extend the due date.

Review and compare proposals

1. You will be notified via email when proposals are ready for your review. You can view a single proposal by navigating to the respective provider’s overview and clicking on the proposal that you wish to view.

2. You can view and compare the latest version of all proposals by clicking on the "Proposals" link in the project navigation panel. From here you can organize the list in ascending or descending order by category (e.g., cost, timeline) and also filter, rearrange, and select the proposals you wish to compare.

3. To compare proposals along with other information (e.g., company information, assessments), click on the "Providers" link and then the “Compare Providers” tab at the top.

4. To compare commercial information and timelines, click on the Glo Insights icon which presents data-driven insights that enable you to visually compare project costs and timelines. If a Globality Pricing template has been selected then you can also download the Cost Analysis document for further analysis and insights.

5. When you are ready to approve a proposal, navigate to the provider’s proposal that you wish to approve. (Note that you can approve only one proposal per provider for each project.)
