What is the line item detail analysis?

Glo generates the line item detail analysis when client includes line item requirements in the project Brief.  

There are two ways to include line item requirements in the project Brief: 

  • Enter line items within the Line Items module and select Pricing Table in Pricing Requirements module. 

  • Select File-based Pricing Template in Pricing Requirements and enter line items within the file-based pricing template. 

 

Line item columns: 

  • Any column that describes the service, product, or resource that the client has requested from the project Brief. This can range from item name to specific details. For example, when describing a person, it could be their name, role, location, department, etc. When describing a product, it could be the product name, manufacturer, type of product, etc. 

Metrics: 

  • Extended Price: the total price for each requested line item.  

  • Unit pricethe total price for each unit of a requested line item. 

  • <column name>: all other columns that contain provider responses are also available in the “View Data” drill down. For example, user can review quantity, unit of measure, comments, etc.
