Why should I upload a project scoping document?
When you begin entering your Project Details, Glo will ask whether you’d like to upload any project-related files or materials. While this step is entirely optional, uploading a project requirements document can significantly speed up your workflow and reduce manual data entry.
If you choose to upload any files in the project scoping documents question, Glo will use AI to instantly analyze the content and automatically draft, summarize, and pre-fill parts of your RFx wherever possible. This means fewer blank fields for you to fill out from scratch and a faster path from project creation to launch.
Tip: Your documents do not need to be final, polished, or “RFx-ready.” Even early-stage or informal materials can be extremely helpful.
What types of files can I upload in the project requirement document field?
You can upload any materials that help explain your project, whether they’re early-stage, informal, or fully finalized.
Examples include unstructured content like call transcripts, market research notes, email threads, brainstorming documents, or rough bullet points, as well as more structured materials such as business cases, Statements of Work (SoW), RFIs, or even a fully drafted RFP.
If a document helps communicate your goals, scope, constraints, or ideas—even in draft form—it’s worth uploading. Glo will use everything you provide to automate and pre-fill your Project Details and your Brief wherever possible.
Glo uses your documents to generate suggestions and draft content, but you always remain in control. You will always have a chance to review any AI-generated content and nothing will be shared with providers without your review and approval.
Will my project scoping documents be shared with providers?
No. Any files uploaded as project scoping documents are only visible to you, your project team, and Glo for the purpose of automating your project setup.
Later, when you begin your Brief (within the Project Scope module), you’ll see a separate question called “Supporting Documents.” At that point, you can explicitly choose whether to share any documents with providers.
What file type(s) are supported?
For the project scoping documents question, the currently supported file types include PDF and text files (.pdf, .txt), Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel formats (.doc, .docx, .ppt, .pptx, .xls, .xlsx), as well as Apple Pages files (.pages), EPUB files (.epub), and Rich Text Format files (.rtf).
Can I upload project scoping documents later or replace my files?
At this time, project scoping documents must be uploaded before you begin your Brief in order for Glo to use them to automate and suggest content. You can still edit or remove the files later, but uploading new or replacement documents after the Brief has already started will not affect the questions shown in the Brief or the AI-generated content and suggestions that Glo has prepared for you.
