Glo Chat helps you analyze suppliers, pricing, and proposals by answering questions in plain language. You don’t choose a skill or a command. You ask a question, and Glo selects the right skill, or combination of skills, to answer it. The richer your brief and the more complete your proposals, the more useful Glo’s answers will be.
Skills are grouped below by what they do and where they’re available.
Pricing analysis
Available when you ask Glo about supplier pricing within a project.
- Pricing Summary. Generates a side-by-side comparison of all supplier proposals, including total cost, hours, resource counts, and other key metrics. Use it for an executive-ready overview, or to rank and score suppliers across multiple criteria.
- Supplier Comparison. Compares suppliers and calls out line items where any supplier exceeds the lowest available rate by a set threshold (15% by default). Use it to quickly find where a supplier is out of step with the competition.
- Outlier Analysis. Identifies individual pricing items that deviate materially from the baseline, which is the lowest available rate by default. Use it to surface negotiation opportunities and catch potential overpricing before you award.
- Award Allocation Optimization. Determines the most cost-effective way to distribute work across multiple suppliers, accounting for volume, feasibility constraints, and minimum project fees. Use it when evaluating a multi-supplier award.
Proposal and brief analysis
Available within a project.
- Proposal Analysis. Evaluates the full substance of supplier proposals: written responses, attachments, and supporting documents. Glo surfaces qualitative insights including delivery confidence, vagueness, internal consistency, and gaps worth a clarification. Use it for open-ended, strategic questions about your suppliers.
- Brief Analysis. Reviews your project brief before it goes to market and identifies gaps, ambiguities, or structural weaknesses that could reduce proposal quality or limit supplier participation. Use it to strengthen your RFP before you send it.
Combined cost and capability
Available within a project.
- Total Value Analysis. Combines pricing data with non-price proposal responses in a single analysis. Use it when your award decision depends on both cost and capability, for example to apply custom weightings, filter by compliance thresholds, or run sensitivity analysis across scoring scenarios.
Organization-wide
- Supplier Analysis. Provides performance insights on suppliers across your organization’s sourcing history, including win rates, response rates, response times, and project counts. This skill is available from the Globality homepage and is not scoped to a single project. Results are limited to projects within your visibility.
Output options
Glo can deliver results in formats ready for sharing or downstream use.
- Excel Export. Generates structured workbooks with custom columns, calculated fields (totals, variances, weighted scores), conditional formatting, and multi-tab layouts. Useful for sharing with category teams, finance, or stakeholders without manual reformatting.
- PDF Export. Generates presentation-ready PDFs formatted for leadership briefings, award recommendations, or stakeholder reviews.
How Glo decides what to use
You don’t need to name a skill. Glo selects the right one, or a combination, based on your question. Glo performs best on higher-level, open-ended questions rather than narrow lookups, so lead with the decision you’re trying to make.
