Sign Sign-On allows a user to enter the Globality platform once they have authenticated against their own company’s Identity Provider (IdP) system. There are two ways users would access the platform.
- Option #1 - user logs into their IdP and then clicks on the Globality app within the list of available applications.
- Option #2 - user goes to the Globality platform, enters their email address, and click on “Continue”. They then authenticate against their company’s IdP. Once authenticated, the user will be automatically redirected back to the Globality Platform

Testing SSO configurations against a UAT environment? | SSO is only configured against Globality’s production environment. |
What is the process to implement SSO
Client informs Globality that they are interested in implementing SSO
Step 1 - Globality creates a SSO connection
Step 2 - Globality sends client
form for client to fill out
certificate of SSO connection
technical info client will need when creating their SSO certificate
Step 3 - Client sends Globality
filled out form
SSO certificate from client’s systems
Step 4 - Globality updates client’s SSO connection with information provided by the client
Step 5 - Globality informs the client that SSO is setup and ready for testing
Step 6 - Client tests and confirms SSO is working
Client testing should be done either during a scheduled meeting between the client and Globality or via email communication. The important thing to note is that uploading of the certificates on the client side and the Globality side need to done at the same time. If the uploading of the certificates is not coordinated, end users trying to log into the platform will encounter an error message.
